How does FlexWheels work?

Members use the FlexWheels app to request their next vehicle, including when and where they would like the next vehicle. A FlexWheels concierge will deliver the fresh vehicle, transfer everything over to your new car, and ensure you’re all set to go. Flip into a new car multiple times a month (6 for Adventurer, 8 for Premier!). Our goal is to ensure you have the perfect car for any occasion.

What is included in a FlexWheels subscription?

Every FlexWheels subscription includes rights to a vehicle, insurance and up to 6 flips per month for Adventurer and 8 flips per month for Premier between vehicles. Any additional flips will cost $50 per flip. There are no mileage limits, however you can only be in a single vehicle no more than 5,000 miles. The FlexWheels concierge team delivers hand detailed vehicles to wherever you request.  We take care of all maintenance and repairs so you can focus on driving. What vehicles are included with FlexWheels?

FlexWheels offers a variety of vehicles including luxury sedans, SUVs, trucks, convertibles, sports cars and more.

How does FlexWheels pick the perfect car for me?

Think of FlexWheels as your personal concierge service.  Tell us about your needs and we'll match them with the perfect vehicle.  More seats?  Extra luggage room? Special date night?  We've got you covered. 

We listen and learn.  And don't worry, if we ever miss the mark we will bring you a new car right away.  We focus on the details so you can focus on enjoying the journey.

How does insurance work?

Insurance is included with all FlexWheels subscriptions.  All approved drivers are covered by the FlexWheels insurance policy.  Policy highlights:

  • Deductible: $500 for Adventurer and $750 for Premier
  • $1,000,000 liability coverage (combined single limit)
  • $300,000 uninsured motorist (combined)
  • $2,000 medical payments to offset any out of pocket or deductible costs

How long can I keep a vehicle?

There are no mileage limits, however you can only be in a single vehicle no more than 5,000 miles.

Occasionally, when a vehicle has been with a member for many weeks, we might need to ask for it back so that we can do routine tasks like preventive maintenance. However, at worst we’ll flip you into a fresh vehicle that is just like the one you have.

How new are the vehicles?

The majority of our vehicles are the current or prior model year.  Each vehicle is detailed before and after it ever goes to a member. Many of our members tell us that every vehicle feels like new!

Signing Up

How do I join FlexWheels?

Download our app here and hit “Sign up”. Follow the instructions to create an account. You will need to provide a credit card, select a plan and provide a picture of your driver’s license. We will verify your information and process your application. We may need to speak with you during that process. In most cases, we can approve an application within one business day. Then we will contact you to get you started and schedule your first flip!

Is FlexWheels in my area?

Today, FlexWheels is live in Miami Dade and Broward County, FL. To qualify, members must reside in one of the following counties: Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe and Palm Beach

Who is eligible?

Anyone 21 or over with a valid license, clean driving record and background check. Anyone who is between the age of 21-25 will be subject to an additional $70/month charge.

How do I receive my first vehicle?

Once accepted, your FlexWheels concierge will work with you to deliver your first vehicle. We recommend you reserve at least 30 minutes for your first delivery so we can answer any questions and show you the ropes. We will have you behind the wheel within a week.

What should I do with my old vehicle?

We will happily help you sell your vehicle to one of our licensed dealerships. Call us on 305-548-8445 to get started.

What is the FlexWheels Joining Fee?

The FlexWheels Activation Fee is a one time charge of $700 for all new FlexWheels memberships. The fee is non-refundable.

Everyday Usage

How well equipped are the vehicles?

The majority of vehicles are equipped with a mid to high-end trim package. Most of our vehicles have leather seats. Other options vary by make/model and specific vehicle. We cannot guarantee the availability of certain options.

Are pets allowed in vehicles?

We do allow pets in the vehicles but they must be transported in a crate.

Is satellite radio included?

No, however you can easily access your satellite radio account in any FlexWheels car using your satellite radio app and a Bluetooth or cable connection.

What happens if my vehicle needs repair?

Our goal is that you will never have to worry about maintenance or repair issues. If something unforeseen occurs, let us know by calling or texting us or use the FlexWheels app to notify us and we will get you back driving!

What happens if I get into an accident?

First, make sure that everyone is safe, get your vehicle to a safe place, exchange information with the other parties and notify the police. Once the situation is stabilized, call us on the concierge line. We will bring you a fresh vehicle and handle everything with respect to the vehicle involved in the incident. 

How much advance notice is required for a flip?

While there is no minimum notice required, the best experience is to book a few days in advance.

Booking a vacation?  Go ahead and book your flip too.

Need something this afternoon?  Don't stress, we will bring you the best option available.

Do I tip the concierge?

FlexWheels does not allow tipping. Concierge delivery is part of the overall FlexWheels member experience and included with the monthly subscription. If you have an exceptional Concierge experience feel free to reflect it in the service rating or by letting the team know.

What if I want to book an additional flip?

Not a problem! Adventurer plans include 6 flips a month, and Premier plans include 8. Easily add an extra flip for a $50 fee. 

What are the operating hours?

The FlexWheels concierge team delivers Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.

Pricing & Payment

Where can I find the insurance card?

View a digital version of your insurance card under the “Your current ride” section of your FlexWheels app homepage. Hard copies of the insurance card can also be found in the glovebox.

What about fuel?

All FlexWheels cars are delivered with a full tank of gas, and FlexWheels members are only responsible for the fuel they use. If you flip a vehicle without a full tank, your concierge will refill the vehicle and add the charge to your account following your flip. We never charge a fuel premium or convenience fee.

When is payment due?

A valid credit card is required during sign up. Your first payment will be charged when we confirm delivery of your first vehicle. Subsequent payments will be charged on a monthly basis, in advance. Any additional charges for gas or upgrades will be charged as soon as the flip ends.

What is the minimum commitment to drive FlexWheels?

FlexWheels is a monthly subscription service. Pay for the first month and give it a try. If you like it, your subscription will renew automatically monthly after the first period. If you ever want to cancel, just let us know and we will end your subscription after your current month has expired.

Can I move between the different plans?

Yes, members can move between plans at any time. Your monthly subscription fee will be prorated. We require that members moving to a lower rated plan have been on their current plan for at least one month. You can also upgraded from Adventurer to Premier for $25 a day.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. Going out of town? Love FlexWheels but need a break? Just pause your FlexWheels account and have one less monthly bill covering something you're not even using. No lease or loan allows that! Pause your FlexWheels account anytime for up to 275 days and a convenience fee of $260. Then pick right back up where you left off for no additional Charge!

Terms of Use

Is there a mileage limit per month?

There is no mileage limit. Drive on! However you can only be in a single vehicle no more than 5,000 miles. But don’t worry if you get to that point our concierge will flip you into a new vehicle.

Can anyone else drive the vehicle?

Yes, eligible drivers may be registered as Additional Drivers and added to the member’s account.

Are members responsible for their FlexWheels car?

Yes, we expect our members to take care of FlexWheels vehicles as if they owned them. Please drive responsibly, keep your vehicle clean, and let us know of any minor dings or spills via the FlexWheels app.

What is the condition of FlexWheels vehicles?

FlexWheels is committed to delivering vehicles that are in excellent condition. To that end, we use technology to ensure that the vehicles are properly maintained and driven responsibly.

What data does FlexWheels collect?
